NOW HIRING: HEAD CHEF / KITCHEN MANAGER
Competitive salary, with live-in accommodation available
We are looking for an experienced Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to join us and take the lead on the food side of our business.
We're a friendly, busy village pub with 10 en-suite bedrooms, a great team and a strong events and party trade, including functions, buffets and private celebrations.
We're searching for someone who not only knows how to run a successful kitchen, but would also enjoy working alongside the landlord to develop our food offering and help grow some new ideas for the business.
The role will include:
• Day-to-day management of the kitchen
• Menu development and creating new dishes
• Ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation
• Maintaining food quality, consistency and standards
• Managing and supporting the kitchen team
• Catering for parties, functions and buffets
• Working with the landlord to develop new food-led opportunities for the pub
Previous experience in a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or similar senior kitchen role is essential.
You won't be doing it alone. All our main systems are already in place, along with a lovely existing kitchen team including a full-time second chef, full- and part-time KPs and additional part-time chefs.
