🐾 Dogs & muddy boots welcome The pub in South Stoke village near Bath was closed and left empty four years ago; now the owner has agreed to sell; our community-based company has exchanged contracts with the owner with completion due in September 2016, subject to a successful fundraising campaign; we need to raise £525,000 to buy the pub and then some more for refurbishment and plan to raise the money through selling shares to the people of South Stoke, Bath and beyond.

🍂Monthly Packhorse Walk - Tomorrow
🗓️ Thursday 29th October | 10.30am

Pull on your wellies and join us for a lovely autumn walk! It’s a chance to enjoy the changing colours, get some fresh air and have a good natter along the way.

It’s half term, so bring the whole gang – families, little ones and dogs are all very welcome! 🐾

Meet us outside the pub at 10.30am, then why not join us afterwards for a coffee or a well-earned lunch? Book a table and make an afternoon of it! 🍽️

The Packhorse Christmas Light Switch On
🗓️ Monday 23rd November.

Come and warm yourselves around the fire pit with a mulled c***r and have a sing-along to some Christmas carols led by our local male choir ‘The Monohummers’.

🎅🏼 We’ve messaged the North Pole and Father Christmas is up for a quick visit to switch the lights on for us…

The Monohummers are once again collecting money in aid of Dorothy House Hospice so please bring along cash for the collecting buckets - thank you!

Join us for a fun night of trivia at our monthly quiz night.
Gather your team, put your knowledge to the test, and enjoy an evening of friendly competition.

There are some great prizes to be won, including a £50 bar tab for first prize.

🍽️ The Loaded Bites food truck will be serving food from 5pm, so come along early, grab something to eat and settle in for the quiz.
