OPEN TUESDAYS TO SUNDAYS!!!!!!!

We hope these become permant opening hours while the Red Lion closes for their referbisments!

Everyone give a huge Coach & Horses welcome to **Ryan!** 🍻

James finally has a right-hand man—and possibly someone capable of keeping him in line! 👀😂

From the week commencing **Monday 7th September**, our opening hours will be:

🕛 **TUESDAY!! too Thursday:** 12 noon–midnight
🕐 **Friday:** 12 noon–1am
🕑 **Saturday:** 12 noon–2am
🕕 **Sunday:** 12 noon–6pm

Because simply running a pub isn’t enough to keep us busy, we’re aiming to bring you entertainment everyday we’re open… **good luck, Ryan!**

🎯 **Wednesdays at 8pm – Darts League**

Locals are welcome to join us after our home matches—or while the team is away. You could even join the team… James managed to get in, so there’s hope for everyone!

🧠 **Thursday 10th at 8pm – Quiz Night Returns**

Our Thursday entertainment will rotate each week—we can’t keep trotting out the same horse every Thursday! 🐴

We’re kicking things off with the return of our quiz night.

🎤 **Friday 11th at 9pm – Open Mic Night**

🎶 **Saturday 12th at 9:30pm – Live Music**

🎉 **Sundays – Sunday Social at the Coach**

Every Sunday, we’ll be hosting a different social event, including bingo, comedy afternoons, card games, song-request sessions and much more!

🔢 **Sunday 13th at 4pm – Bingo!**

Get those dabbers ready—it’s eyes down at The Coach & Horses, with **prizes to be won!**

Bingo will be hosted in our **back room, away from the main bar**, so you can join the fun or simply enjoy a drink at the bar as usual.

Serving sandwiches, ploughman’s boards and more.

Because Sundays are made for roast dinners—with none of the washing up!

🎂 **A special note for Wednesday 9th September:**

The kitchen will be closed for dinner as it’s James’s birthday—but nobody is going hungry!

James will be putting out a **buffet** as a thank-you to our wonderful locals for all the support you’ve shown us over the past couple of years. Everyone is invited to join us, grab a bite and raise a glass with him! 🥳🍺

As things get busier, we’ll extend our hours—now James finally has his right-hand man, there are no excuses!

Due to an unforeseen emergency and low staffing, we won’t be opening until 3pm today.

We’re really sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. ❤️

🎶 **LIVE MUSIC NIGHT AT THE COACH & HORSES!** 🇮🇪☘️

We’re delighted to announce our next **Live Music Night** will be on **Friday 28th August**!

Join us from **9.30pm** as **Eamon** brings the sounds of **Irish Folk Music** to the Coach & Horses. 🎻🎶

🍽️ **Our kitchen will be open as usual from 6–9pm**, and James will also be cooking up a delicious **Steak & Guinness Stew** made with Beef Brisket for the evening! 🥩🍺

It’s set to be a night full of **great food, live entertainment and good craic!** 🍻☘️

Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends and family and come and enjoy the evening with us!

We’ve been busy behind the scenes getting **The Coach & Horses** ready for a brand-new food offering — and tomorrow, we’re going **FULL STEAM AHEAD!**

Think proper pub favourites, small plates, stone-baked pizzas, hearty mains, family-friendly options and something lovely to finish. 🍕🍗🍟🍨

And that’s not all… 👀
We’ll also be running **regular specials**, so there’ll always be something different to tempt you back.

Tonight, while we put the finishing touches to the full menu, **we’ll have a selection of the new dishes available** — so you can get a little sneak preview of what’s coming.

☀️ It’s going to be a warm one today! ☀️

We like to look after our customers, so we’ve got a few little things in place to help keep everyone cool and comfortable! ❤️

💧 We’ll have an ice-cold water tap on the bar all day, so please help yourself.
🐶 Fresh water will be available for all the pooches too.
🌂 Our parasols will be up throughout the day to provide some shade.

Your Role

As Front of House Supervisor, you'll play a key part in the day-to-day running of the pub, including:
• Leading and motivating the front of house team
• Managing staff rotas
• Maintaining exceptional customer service standards
• Ensuring high cleaning and hygiene standards throughout the venue
• Carrying out and recording line cleaning
• Supporting the smooth operation of the business and leading by example

Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week**, including a mixture of days, evenings and weekends

• At least **3 years' experience** in a hospitality management or supervisory role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a busy environment

✔ A full DBS check (or be willing to obtain one)
✔ Valid photo ID and proof of right to work in the UK
