As well as us and other Colchester Inn sites looking for Duty Managers we have a very exciting role available here at The Bucks!
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic manager to take the lead at our much-loved country pub in the heart of the Blickling National Trust countryside.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about great hospitality, quality food and drink, and being part of a local community.
Cosy pub and restaurant in winter months, thriving in summer with a beautiful outside area, this opportunity to work in a stunning Norfolk setting is not to be missed.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring high standards across all areas. You will lead by example, motivate the team and help drive the pub forward while maintaining its character and hard earned reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing daily operations of the pub
* Managing, training and motivating staff
* Delivering excellent customer service at all times
* Stock control, ordering and supplier liaison
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and compliance
* Managing budgets, costs and profitability
About You:
* Previous experience managing a successful pub, bar, restaurant or similar hospitality venue
* Strong leadership and people-management skills
* A hands-on, organised and proactive approach
* Passion for food, drink and customer service
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
* An understanding of P&L
