Please take a moment to support a beloved local pub, The Bricklayers Arms. Pubs across the UK are closing at an alarming rate—two per week—due to rising costs and a lack of sufficient government support.

The Bricklayers Arms has been a valued part of our community for many years. It offers more than just a pint—it provides jobs, social connection, entertainment, and a safe, welcoming space for locals.

In 2024, this pub had their licence amended to remove the condition that restricted the use of the beer garden after 23:00. In addition, licensing authorities granted permission for live and recorded music until 1:00am—a much-needed update that helped the venue thrive.
Now they want to take it away.

Now, an unnecessary amendment to their licence could have serious financial and social consequences for this well-established venue.

If you value local businesses and community spaces, please help by making a representation in support of the pub. It only takes a moment.
