Wainwrights' Inn is a traditional Lakeland pub, offering fine local ales and an extensive hearty menu Still not sure?
(899)

Wainwrights’ Inn was once a farmhouse, gunpowder factory managers house, petrol station and hotel. The varied history is matched by the variety of ale from local brewers and a few choice brews from further afield. Other refreshing beverages are available with a selection of wines and seasonal specialities for inside and outside all year round. For indecisive or adventurous why not seek the advice of Gary aka The Curator of Ales in Wainwrights’ or Lisa who will be more than happy to recommend an Ale for you. Well we have a plan B, beer bats, try three ales for the price of one (pint) and get the best of both worlds!

One of life's great disappointments: Walking into a pub at 4:05pm and hearing, "Sorry, the kitchen's closed."

Not here. We're now serving food all day, every day.

Just good pub grub when you want it. 🏔️🍔🍺

We know where it is. Soon, you will too. 👀

A hidden sauna experience is arriving in a secluded corner of the Langdale Estate.

This August only, we're partnering with The Hot Bothy to bring a unique wood-fired sauna and cold plunge experience to the Lakes.

The catch? You'll only discover the location once you've booked.
