A traditional coaching inn in the heart of Hawkshead village open daily offering a tempting range of homemade pub meals for breakfast, lunch, or a hearty evening meal – perhaps even just a cuppa. We offer hand pulled cask beer from local brewers, premium lagers, ciders and bottled craft beers to tempt you amongst a great selection of wines and spirits from around the world to enjoy in front of one

of our roaring log fires or in our sunny garden! Our hotel boasts of cosy en-suite bedrooms overlooking the cobbles and crooked narrow streets of the historic village and just a stone’s throw away from Ambleside and the Lake District.
