“After years of expertly serving pints, banter, and questionable life advice, our beloved barmaid is swapping pulling pints for delivering post! A dedicated member of staff, adored by customers and armed with a wit sharper than the bottle opener, she’s leaving us for life as a post lady.
When she’s not tearing around in Paddy the Caddy van, you’ll usually find her halfway up a mountain, swimming in a river, lake, or stream, or generally making the rest of us look unadventurous.
We’re not sure what the post office saw in her, but they’ve gained a legend and we’ve lost one. The bar won’t be the same without her laughter, quick comebacks, and ability to remember everyone’s drink order better than their own families do.
We’ll miss you terribly — just don’t forget us when you’re delivering letters in your hiking boots with soggy socks. Cheers to your next adventure!”
