We absolutely love our four-legged visitors at The Cherry Tree! 🐾❤️

Big dogs, little dogs, puppies, golden oldies, fluffy ones, scruffy ones… they’re all welcome here. There’s something about a dog walking through the door that instantly makes the pub feel even happier.

Bring your best friend along, get comfy, enjoy a drink or something to eat, and let them soak up all the attention they’re almost certainly convinced they deserve.

🍒 A LITTLE PIECE OF STEVENTON HISTORY 🍒

How amazing is this photograph of Station Road, Steventon, around 1955? ❤️

Look closely on the right and you’ll see The Railway House Hotel… the very building that is now The Cherry Tree! 🍒

More than 70 years later, the road may look rather different, the cars have certainly improved, and thankfully nobody has to pose motionless in the road for a photograph anymore, but our little pub is still here welcoming people through its doors.

The Cherry Tree has been part of Steventon’s story for generations, long before it had the name we know today.

We absolutely love discovering old photographs like this and seeing how much, and sometimes how little, our village has changed.

😂💃 Things are getting a little bit Footloose at The Cherry Tree! 🕺😂

Apparently serving great food and drinks just isn’t enough for us anymore… we’ve now decided we’re learning the Footloose dance! 🤦‍♀️😂

There may be questionable coordination, a few wrong steps and absolutely no guarantee that anyone knows what they’re doing… but we’re giving it a go! 😂

So if you pop into The Cherry Tree and see us randomly practising our moves, just pretend it’s completely normal. Better still, join in! 😂
