Cycling UK Oxfordshire has recently launched the Oxfordshire Online Cycling Map - available here https://cyclingukoxfordshire.org/oxmap/, showing the best routes for new or inexperienced cyclists.
The map was created by around 60 experienced cyclists and campaign groups across Oxfordshire, aiming to encourage less confident, novice, and young cyclists to understand how they can cycle most safely around their towns, villages, and communities, and to give more experienced cyclists possible routes to get between them.
Cllr Eric de la Harpe, Vale of White Horse District Council cycling champion said: ““We welcome this new map which offers safer routes for cyclists in our towns and rural areas. We hope it will encourage more cycling which is better for individual’s health and our environment.”
