Located within the beautiful Water Garden Pavilion next to the skating rink/splash pad at Prince Arthur’s Landing, Bight Restaurant & Bar is a full service, fully licensed establishment. Bight is open daily for lunch and dinner offering seating for 90 in the main restaurant and bar area, 45 on the seasonal patio, with a cocktail and reception area for an additional 30 to 125 people in the adjacent Mariner’s Hall. Our vision for Bight is to utilize the striking scenery of the waterfront and showcase the world-class urban development that has occurred at Prince Arthur’s Landing. We value our tourism partnerships and promoting the area and our unique community.

It’s that time of the year and Bight Brunch returns for Fall & Winter! Starting this Saturday at 11am and every Saturday & Sunday from 11-4pm weekly come in and enjoy a selection of breakfast & lunch options.
To kick things off, this Saturday we are offering $9 Mimosas all day!
Bight will close at 4pm this Saturday due to Halloween because we know you are either:
1. Going downtown
2. Giving out candy
3. Going to a house party
4. Taking the kids trick-or-treating
5. Waiting for the grandkids to come by to trick-or-treat

We’re officially ONE MONTH away from Superior Chef! If you’ve been hearing about the event and wondering what it’s all about, here’s everything you need to know.

🍽️ What is Superior Chef?
Superior Chef is a brand new culinary competition bringing some of Thunder Bay’s talented chefs together for an unforgettable evening of food, fun and friendly competition. You’ll sample their creations and help vote for the first Superior Chef People’s Choice Award!

Who does Superior Chef support?
Proceeds from the evening will support George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation and Easter Seals Ontario, helping children, youth and families in Thunder Bay, Northwestern Ontario and across the province.

How can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available now at superiorchef.ca. General Admission and VIP tickets are available.

What’s included with VIP?
VIP guests get to start the evening early with an exclusive reception featuring appetizers, a specialty cocktail and the chance to mix and mingle with our celebrity emcee, comedian James Cunningham, before the main event begins.

Which chefs are participating?
We’ve brought together a lineup of top chefs from across Thunder Bay’s food scene, each ready to showcase their skills and bring something unique to the competition. Stay tuned to our page as we introduce the chefs who will be competing!

Who will determine the Superior Chef?
We’ve hand-picked a panel of five judges who know a great dish when they taste one! With discerning palates and an appreciation for great food, they’ll have the difficult job of tasting each chef’s creation and ultimately deciding who will be crowned Superior Chef.

Do guests get to vote?
Yes! Each ticket holder receives a ballot to cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award. Come hungry and be ready to choose your favourite!

🚪 General Admission doors open at 6:00 p.m.
🍴 Main event begins at 6:30 p.m.
