For the ones that continue to message, YES, it’s official ... PIER 61 IS NOW CLOSED 😢
And with that, an exciting opportunity has begun 😊making way for an all-inclusive rebranding of the building with Best-Western ‘Aiden’.
I encourage you all to keep an ear (and an eye) out for the renovation that will unfold in these coming months. The changes that are coming are BIG ... there HUGE ... and we agree, there long overdue!
On a personal note: Having worked in this building for many (many) years, I am truly beyond words. Yes, it's been quite the rollercoaster. It’s been exciting, it’s been scary. ‘Change’ is scary ... VERY scary. But with ‘change’ comes incredible opportunities.
Sadly, we couldn’t have our 'Farewell to the Pier' 🎉 party that we wanted; having been forced to close (4 weeks early) due to the pandemic shutdown in January. Do not fret ... we’ll make it up to you BIG once we (finally) reopen!! So 🤞that this renovation goes smoothly!
And for us here at Pier 61, we just wanted to thank everyone for their continued support over the (many) years, and especially throughout this pandemic. You will never know how much this has meant to us! ♥️♥️♥️
