“ While working/ bartending in downtown Fort William for over a decade -
… I saw more overdoses than I care to remember.
Some survived - some did not.

Some overdosed multiple times within a few weeks.

Some of the things I’ve seen - I wish I hadn’t.

Some have broken free from the chains of Addiction. Some have not. Some are thriving. Some are dead.

All of them had families.
Many of them had children.
All of them were in pain that I’ll never comprehend.

I don’t have the answers or the solutions- but my spirit hopes for better days ahead and grieves for the ones who’ve gone on ahead of us and for the ones who loved them.”
