Yering Station

Yering Station Victoria's First Vineyard located in the picturesque Yarra Valley. Cellar Door + Restaurant + Private Tastings + Gardens + Wine Club + Art Gallery
(2652)

Victoria's first vineyard, Yering Station, is located in the 'heart' of the Yarra Valley only one hour’s drive from Melbourne. The property offers an unforgettable wine and food experience. Set amongst breathtaking views, superb architecture and beautifully kept gardens, it is a Yarra Valley destination not-to-be-missed. Originally planted in 1838, the historical wine estate was purchased by the R

athbone family in 1996, marking the beginning of a new era with the construction of a state-of-the-art winery and award-winning wine tourism destination. Planted with our key varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz, Yering Station remains true to its heritage as a family-owned and operated winery dedicated to producing wines of quality and distinction and has been awarded ‘International Winemaker of the Year’ at the prestigious International Wine and Spirit Competition in London. The winery has been further recognised for its commitment to excellence with an induction into the Australian Tourism Awards ‘Hall of Fame’. The Wine Bar Restaurant is stylish and relaxed and is set within spectacular architecture opening out to expansive views of the Yarra Ranges. A seasonal menu is designed by Yering Station’s Head Chef Laura Webb, featuring regional produce creatively used in contemporary style dishes. The Yering Station Cellar Door offers the visitor a myriad of experiences... Enjoy tasting wine with the informative staff at the historic Cellar Door, browse the Produce Store, view the visual delights of the Art Gallery or just relax with a glass of Yarrabank Cuvee in Matt’s Bar.

Re-cap of a rewarding day at our Spring Lane property, continuing our replanting program with TreeProject alongside an incredible group of volunteers.

A few weeks back, 26 volunteers planted 900 native trees and shrubs, including a group of Year 9 students from Albert Park College who helped grow 600 of the seedlings themselves before putting them in the ground.

Today we are proud to announce our latest Single Vineyard Series releases.

Comprised of classic Yarra Valley varieties from across the 2024 and 2025 vintage. Grown on the site of Victoria's oldest vineyard, as well as our family of vines across the Yarra Valley region.

These special wines are released only when a parcel truly stands out and speaks for itself. Our latest releases capture five distinct parcels of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Nebbiolo. Each chosen for their terroir-driven individuality, bottled to reflect origin with clarity and precision.

Y28 Block Chardonnay
A pristine parcel from a premier Chardonnay site, typically responsible for our Reserve grade Chardonnay. Enjoy white peach, lemon curd and notes of wet river stones.

Spring Lane Vineyard Chardonnay
From a special block located in our Coldstream vineyard, this wine is abound with crunchy white nectarine, lemon salt and powerful minerality.

Y13 Block Pinot Noir
Harvested from an exceptional block on the vineyard that neighbours our estate. Enjoy dark plum, Morello cherry, forest floor and a touch of five spice.

Laura Barnes Pinot Noir
An adored rendition of savoury, earthy Pinot Noir. The 2025 release celebrates those nuances with dark cherry, beetroot and pomegranate at the fore.

Muirs Vineyard Nebbiolo, First Release
A first release, this parcel was harvested from the nearby Muirs vineyard in Yarra Glen. Enjoy bright red cherries, raspberries and classic chewy Nebbiolo tannins.
