Chocolate and buttermilk sorbets with olive oil 🍨

Rich, dark chocolate perfectly complemented by the freshness of the buttermilk, which we save and use here from making our own butter. Drizzle of spectacular olive oil from Fiona Willis in Dwellingup on top.

Pasta nights, we love you.

Every Wednesday and Thursday night, we serve a bowl of simple and lovely pasta with a glass of white or red w**e for a special price of $30.

We’ll continue with this throughout the summer, with a couple of exceptions — there’ll be no pasta night in the week before or the week after Christmas.

So that’s every Wednesday and Thursday except:

Dec 23 & 24
Dec 30 & 31

Pasta will be back in Jan.

Our tree, as always, is growing back slower than every other tree on William Street — but that only means there’s more springtime sunshine to be enjoyed for now before we hit the high heat of the year.

Plenty happening in the w**e bar this weekend with new produce hitting the menu and the cellar getting a spring clean. Bottles, bottles, bottles, come get ‘em!

Some things from the kitchen of late - weekend specials making use of lovely spring produce!

A plate of prosciutto with house made ricotta and gorgeous Gingin peach, touched by flame. 🍑 Plus a very photogenic (and delicious) frangipane tart with mulberries from Perth City Farm and lemon verbena ice cream.

So simple, so good.

Rolling specials are always hitting our menu around Friday lunch and on for the weekend until sold out. It’s a very nice time of the week to visit.
