A pretty special job came through the workshop today 🙌🏽

We had Bailey and Rusty from Wandering Minds stop by Ali Worx while making their way on an incredible 5,000km walk from Kalumburu to Albany.

Bailey’s journey is raising awareness around mental health and supporting those doing it tough.

We were more than happy to lend a hand and make a few modifications to Bailey’s cart so she can carry a few more stores and supplies for the road ahead — our little contribution to an awesome cause.

Another tidy custom job out of the workshop. 🤙🏽

We gave this boat a console upgrade to fit a 16” sounder along with a few extra gadgets, then built a removable bait board that can be slotted in around the boat.

All custom made, built tough, and tailored to how the owner uses their rig.

🤙🏽 Meet Sam!

One of the legends doing work experience with us this week at Ali Worx.

The boys have already got him measuring up aluminium and getting stuck into a few jobs around the workshop.

When he’s not at high school, you’ll usually find Sam out chasing fish or down at the speedway. 🎣🏁

UPDATE:
The Dambimangari Ranger ‘Manambadda’ has undergone major hull renewal works, including the replacement of key sections of the aluminium hull. These upgrades will help ensure the vessel continues to operate safely and reliably for years to come.

Jayden dropped into Ali & Steel Worx yesterday and saw the Dambimangari Aboriginal Corporation ranger vessel "Manambadda" in for a refit and running repairs.

"Manambadda", meaning warrior in the Worrorra language, is an aluminium 9.3m Air Rider in NSCV 2C survey. Originally launched in South Australia as a fishing vessel in early 2009, the vessel now performs ranger duties is northwest WA.
