Casual Floor Staff – Weekend Availability Required
CJ’s W**e Bar is looking for a friendly, reliable Casual Staff member to join our small team in Banyo.
Location: CJ’s W**e Bar, Banyo — right outside Banyo Train Station
Hours: Casual | 2–3 shifts per week, generally 5:00 PM–9:00 PM
Must be available: Friday & Saturday nights
Sunday availability: Required for extra shifts and upcoming functions
Pay: $32.00–$45.00 per hour, with higher weekend penalty rates
With the holiday and function season approaching fast, there will be plenty of opportunity for additional hours for the right person.
Who we’re looking for:
- Available Friday & Saturday nights, with Sunday availability to pick up additional shifts
- A genuine people person who enjoys chatting with guests, reading the room, and making people feel welcome
- Great communication skills — someone who can keep guests informed and relaxed if food or drinks are taking a little longer
- Reliable and proactive with transport; while we’re on the train line, you’ll need a backup plan for rail disruptions
- Current QLD RSA, or willing to obtain one immediately
Hospitality experience is not essential. We can teach you how to carry a tray and pour a w**e — what we can’t teach is warmth, personality and genuine care for guests.
What’s in it for you:
- Competitive hourly rates with night and weekend penalties
- Consistent evening shifts with no super-late finishes
- A friendly, local team environment
- Extra hours available through the busy holiday and function season
- Convenient for anyone living or studying along the Shorncliffe line

No cover letter needed. Send us a message or email telling us a little about yourself, your availability, and why you love talking to people.
