Brushworks Slick Sixes Brushworks Slick Sixes is a small work shop dedicated to the humble Holden V6. We also do fuel system conversions for E85 upgrades.

Had Brads nice tidy VS back in for some more tuna lovin’.
Had this clean unit in a while back for a tune with one of those belt driven half turbo half hair driver things bolted to it.
It made a nice 306rwhp.
But Brad need something more, something that would put you back in to the seat when getting on the loud pedal….
So he removed the side mount blower and teamed up with Tony from Tony’Z Turbo Garage for what I have to say is a bloody sweet manifold, gate and turbo setup!!! His work is so clean and tidy, it really sits well in the VS bay!!!
Well anyways, we stuck in some nice Bosch 1150 squirty girls and got rid of that dirty parts washer fuel from the fuel tank and added some nice environmentally friendly E85 to the mix!!
Like seriously, who does not like a nice drink????

This girl is a manual with a pretty nice engine combo and is running a Pulsar S369 turbo.

We were having a ball with this setup, well until the clutch cracked the sads and ran off to the clutch union complaining about power abuse…
At 410, it had a little slip and at 443, the wheel speed dropped even more…
Bloody sook…
Anyway we ended up with a nice healthy 443rwhp at 13psi!!!

Brad is going to fire the current clutch for being too soft about life and update it with something with a bit more intestinal fortitude!!!
Stay tuned for updates on this bad boi, as we are going to give it a bit more wind in the not to distant future to see what it can do!!!

Finally got to get Evan's Mangnaro in for a tune up after building the new engine.
The last time around we had a few gremlins floating around in the wiring loom and no matter what we did we could not find them all.
So Evan pulled the loom out and sat down a redone the whole engine/ecu wiring harness.
He has a video out on TinShed TV showing all the work he put in to this new loom to try and get it all running how it should be.
We also changed out the Morans 160Lb injectors for some Bosch 160Lb injectors at the same time.
Evan bought the car down on a trailer so I could have a good crack at the cold start and I think it is now pretty spot on!!!
We got the girl up on the rollers and got in to the tune and there were no more gremlins to deal with!!!!
Everything did what it was meant to do when it was meant to do it!!!
Was the shortest day I have ever had on the dyno with this car!!!
The new engine feels pretty bloody smooth and quite feisty !!!!!

At the end of the day we managed to to get her to lay out a nice 613RWHP run !!!!!
We also managed this with less boost than we ran on the last motor by a few PSI!!!
The best we got on the old setup was 585 and now we are at 613 with less boost, 28rwhp gain is pretty cool!!!!
There is more to be had in there, but that is going to be for another day!!!!

102mm all the way.
Internally ported and outlet ported..
All the boost!!!!!!!!!!

Now time to box her up and send it to its new owner in S.A….

Before you ask, these are only for the serious builds as they are not what you would call a simple bolt on.
