Larry's Tavern is a historic neighborhood dive bar in St. Louis County, Missouri, where burgers, cold b**r and generations of regulars have kept this tiny tavern going since 1970.

What was once a service station surrounded by farmland became a local watering hole for construction workers — and more than 50 years later, Larry’s Tavern is still going strong.

Inside, you’ll find dollar bills covering the walls, burgers coming out of a tiny kitchen, longtime regulars, plenty of stories, and the kind of neighborhood bar atmosphere that’s getting harder to find.

But the best part of Larry’s isn’t what’s hanging on the walls.

It’s the people sitting at the bar.

In this episode of Show Me Dive Bars, we visit Larry’s Tavern in Wildwood, Missouri, to hear the history of the bar, meet regulars who have been coming here for decades, talk with the bartenders who keep the place running, and find out why this little Missouri tavern means so much to the people who call it their bar.

Larry's has never been about fancy cocktails or white tablecloths. It's about cold drinks, familiar faces, great music, good conversations, and a place where everyone is welcome.
So here's to our incredible customers... the ones who keep the jukebox playing, cheer a little too loud, tell the same stories (we still laugh), and remind us every day why we love what we do.
We may be a dive bar... but we've got the best customers around.

We had a special guest in the house today! Wildwood’s oldest resident. She will be turning 101 soon and it was the first time in her 100 yrs to come to Larry’s!!! Love our community!
