❤️ SEPTEMBER 11TH — A DAY FOR FAMILY ❤️

For the first time ever, Betty will be closing the bar.

On September 11th, R-Friends will be closed from 1:30–3:00 PM so our R-Friends family, friends, and everyone who loved Andy has the opportunity to attend his service and say goodbye.

Following the service, we will be having a dinner and opening the bar to Andy’s family (Everyone is welcome) from 4:00–6:00 PM so we can come together, share a meal, tell stories, laugh, cry, and remember the good times.

During the family gathering, there will be NO SMOKING inside the bar.

We know closing the doors is a little unusual for R-Friends, but some things are more important than business. Family is family, and today, we choose to be there for ours.

Thank you for understanding and for giving us the time and space to honor Andy. ❤️

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beloved family member, William Simon (Andy), who passed away on August 26, 2026.

Andy was loved by so many, and his presence, laughter, stories, and unforgettable sense of humor will be deeply missed. While our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the memories and the time we were blessed to have with him.
