17 Years of ACQUA ❤️
Seventeen years ago, we opened the doors to ACQUA with a mix of nervous confidence, excitement, and a whole lot of uncertainty. We believed in creating something special by the lake, though we never could have imagined just how challenging and ultimately fulfilling this journey would become.
What has made this place so special has never just been the food or the view — it has always been the people.
What started as one lakeside restaurant grew into 9 with the opportunity to employ generations of families and the privilege of working alongside more than 1,500 incredible staff members — each one leaving their mark on our story.
Over the years, we’ve watched kids grow into adults, our incredible ACQUA team become family, and staff friendships blossom into marriages. We’ve had the privilege of hosting your weddings, graduations, baby showers, anniversaries, celebrations of life, fundraisers, first dates, and so many ordinary evenings that quietly became unforgettable memories.
ACQUA has always been more than a restaurant to us — it’s an extension of our hearts. We are honored it has become such a special gathering place, built on community, loyalty, and love.
We are so incredibly grateful for the support that has gifted us these many years by the lake, and somehow, after more than 5,000 dinner services, we are still as excited to welcome you as we were in 2009.
To every guest who has chosen to spend their time with us, every employee who has poured their heart into it, and every person who has supported this dream over the last 17 years — thank you. Truly.
We don’t take a single day for granted.
