Chef Alfredo has added some new dishes to the menu, including pork belly, summery gazpacho, mussels, and more. Join us for dinner you'll not soon forget, and enjoy the third place we've curated for you.

It's almost National Cheese Day (June 4) and we want to take a moment to celebrate all things cheese with our in-house, expert Cheesemonger, Kara of .

Kara will be introducing three new cheeses to the menu this month, so make sure to check out the new additions (and stay tuned for cheese introduction videos too).

But first, Kara is training for the "Cheese Olympics" and she's giving you even more of an excuse to eat cheese.
Join us on June 18th for a fun, cheese filled Cheesemonger Invitational trial run and cheer on Kara while eating the most delicious cheeses and beer.

It's Friday.
We love that. 

We also love that today is the day our Cream Ale returns. If you've been with us since day one, you know the Alley Beer was the first beer we poured for the public before we even opened our H Street brick and mortar.

If you haven't had it yet, you most certainly should. Ben, our beer hero, thank you for brewing such wonderful beer. 

Peep the upcoming, very Spring/Summer brews he's dropping. Come check them out. 🫣

DC Mahj Collective returns for their summer tournament on 6/16 at 7:00 PM. Reach out to them for sign up information.

Good morning DC! We're open today a few extra hours, since tomorrow is a holiday and many of you are enjoying a long weekend.

Ben has a few new beers for you to sip, and Chef has some new food specials (but don't worry, the lamb lollipops, wings and pretzels never disappear...unless it's off your plate).

We'll be open from 12-9 today with the kitchen closing at 8. We look forward to spending some more time with our guests and H Street neighbors.

Enjoy the slightly less rainy day and pop into your favorite third place.

This may not be the weather you wanted or envisioned for your memorial day weekend plans, and that's a bummer. 

We wish we could change the weather for you all, but we can give you some good news. 

Good news:

1. We are tapping a brand new beer today.

Ben brewed a Kveik IPA. What is a Kveik IPA? Read further 👇

2. Our Sunday hours are extended this weekend for the holiday. 12-9pm for the bar (kitchen closes at 8).

3. Ben has released a new beer for the last 4 Fridays in a row, so if you haven't been by in a while (we won't judge you, we know life is lifing too much sometimes), you have soooo many new beers to try. 

4. We have an incredibly relaxing, warm, dare we say kind of sexy? MCM space to make you feel like you are on vacation. Escape to each space in Henceforth if you are staycationing. 

(Bonus, we still have our anniversary month special going on through the end of the month). 

We can't change the meh weather, but we can definitely lift your mood with beer, delicious food and wine and above all, the grooviest vibes on the block. 

Kveik IPA? What's that? 

Kveik is a traditional strain of Norwegian yeast that thrives in higher temperatures. And the resulting tastes give strong tropical fruit and citrusy notes. So, if you can't be on a beach this weekend, you can at least drink a beer that tricks you into thinking you are. 😎🏖️👙

The 6% abv IPA was fermented with Kveik yeast at higher than usual temperatures. Yeast derived esters and added terpines give big citrus/orange forward flavor and aroma. Come have a glass of tropical weather this weekend.

Ben has been dropping new beers left and right, one Friday after another. Last week, we added an English Mild and this week, a Kveik IPA! Ben's passion for brewing traditional styles of beer truly shines here at Henceforth.

Nothing against hazy IPAs, we love em' but we want to make a beer for everyone's pallettes and honor the history of beer making with hard to find, traditional styles.

If you haven't tried his last few releases, we invite you to come by for a pint or two, sit back in your seat and enjoy how refreshing the visit to Henceforth after work will be.
