For the month of June, we were hoping to bring back our Women x Wine x Wednesdays. So that didn't happen, but our scheduled food partner for the month was Puddin' and you shouldn't miss out on the mouthwatering comfort food they are serving up. Owner Toyin Alli started her business in Eastern Market, and it's only grown. During pandemic times you can order Gumbo, Crawfish n' Grits, Brown Butter Bourbon Bread Puddin', and more for pick up from her location in Union Market. Consider another day of eating-in covered.

We're closed for now, but not gone. Before shutting our doors, we were partnering with a couple amazing black-owned businesses. And we still want to tell you about them and the many other badass businesses fighting for survival right now. One of these businesses is Culture Socks. DC-based and woman-owned, Culture Socks is all about quality footware and self-expression. Juneteenth is not the only day to support black-owned businesses. Pay a visit to their website to check out and purchase their products.

Seriously, a wine pairing class with natural wine AND Venezuelan food?! We're teaming up with Arepa Zone on Instagram Live on Saturday, June 6 at 4pm. Founders Stacey and Gabi will be pairing three natural wines with three incredible Arepa Zone dishes. Mouth already watering. Tune into the Dio account to follow along!
