From their table in Puerto Escondido to ours in Washington, DC. A full-circle moment.

What started with a visit to Almoraduz as guests of their restaurant turned into something special. This time, we had the pleasure of welcoming their team into our home for an unforgettable evening of food, culture, and collaboration.

Two kitchens, different traditions, and a shared love for bringing people together through food.

A huge thank you to the Almoraduz team for making the journey, and to everyone who joined us for this special edition of Tawletna.

Until we meet again. Vamos, Habibi. ❤️

Introducing Kibbeh Nayeh, a Lebanese classic and one of the newest additions to our fall menu.

More than just a dish, Kibbeh Nayeh holds a special place in Lebanese culture. Traditionally prepared for Sunday lunches, holidays, and family gatherings, it has long been a staple of the Lebanese table.

Our take features lamb tenderloin, shallots, radishes, capers, cornichons, dijonaise, mint, and seven spice, served with pita bread.

A little piece of Lebanon, the Vera way.

Meet our Costilla Bil Batata, one of the newest additions to our fall menu.

24-hour slow-cooked, bone-in beef short rib served with crispy hashbrown, slow-cooked vegetables, and salsa macha for a little heat.

Best enjoyed with a glass of red and good company.

It started in Puerto Escondido… 🌊

Our yearly team trip has a few traditions, and a meal at Almoraduz is one of our favorites. It’s where we celebrate each other, order another round, and leave talking about what we just ate.

Somewhere between those dinners and the flight home, “we should bring them to Vera” became a plan.

And that’s the inspiration behind our next Tawletna collaboration. A team favorite, coming to meet our DC family. We can’t wait. 🤎

Swipe for a little of the backstory. Join us October 15 & 16—tickets + RSVP in bio.
