A little bit of Jackson Hole history, hanging from every wall. 🫎
There’s a lot to look at inside the Mangy Moose - and that’s kind of the point.
Old movie posters, vintage signs, antlers, Western relics, old bikes, sleds, and plenty of things hanging from the ceiling that probably deserve a second look. The walls of the Moose have collected a whole lot of character over the years.
We opened in Teton Village in 1967, back when the Village itself was still finding its footing and the aerial tram was brand new. More than half a century later, a lot has changed around us. Inside the Moose, we’ve held onto the weird, Western, slightly wild character that made this place what it is.
It’s part ski-town history, part old Western saloon, and part collection of things you’re not quite sure how they ended up there.
Next time you’re in, look around. There’s always something you missed the first time.
