Fresh hop season is here! Our brewing team is hard at work getting ready for the most exciting craft beer run of the year. From farm-fresh harvests to limited-release brews, we are preparing to bring you the absolute freshest flavors of the Pacific Northwest.

Keep your eyes on our tap lists and feeds over the coming weeks as our fresh hop releases begin to drop across all of our pubs and taprooms. You will not want to miss this year's lineup!

SAIKŌ Japanese Lager

Inspired by the great alger brewing traditions of Japan, Saikō is brewed with the finest pale pilsner malt and a heaping portion of flaked rice. A kiss of Perle hops delivers a whiff of floral aromatics and brings balance to the beer (and, hopefully, to you too!). Saikō finishes super dry and exceptionally crisp. Kanpai!

All this in under 5 minutes! Fresh hop season is here and every minute counts. Especially when that means getting these Indie Hops LLC Luminosa hops from Coleman Agriculture Alluvial Farm in Independence down to Sunriver and into a batch of Fuzztail as fast as possible!

Our brew team is all-hands-on-deck for daily fresh hop arrivals, with the boil already underway, scales ready, and as many hands as possible ready to unload 100+lbs of the most recent hop harvest from our partners in the Willamette Valley. We can't wait to share with you what we're brewing up this year!

Fresh Hop season is rolling in fast, and we’re giving our award-winning Stomp West Coast IPA the ultimate seasonal upgrade!

We took that lean, crisp pale barley base and loaded it up fresh Strata, picked up this morning from Coleman Agriculture Greenleaf Farm in St Paul, OR. Our new fresh hop Stomp recipe dialS up those bold tropical, citrus, and berry notes to a whole new level.

This month we recognized 5- and 10-year anniversaries of three of our brewing operations team members, Steven, Patrick, and Mason. We are incredibly lucky to have some of the most dedicated, passionate, and talented minds in the industry driving our cellar, packaging, and brew deck. To put it simply: we would not be where we are today without these three legends. In a family-owned team that firmly believes in a Culture of Quality, Steven, Patrick, and Mason live and breathe that standard every single day.

Our Director of Operations, Brett Thomas, put together some kind words to recognize their milestone years and showcase the people behind the pints.

Steven (Production Coordinator) — 5 Years
"Steven onboarded in 2021, coming to us from the cider world of Vermont. He joined our packaging team and quickly rose to the Packaging Lead position. With his determination and focus, Steven has managed to climb the ladder and settle into our Production Coordinator position, ultimately being responsible for the quality of every keg, can, or bottle that leaves the brewery. No small task there!"

Patrick (Head Brewer) — 10 Years
"Patrick joined us in the summer of 2016 and immediately led the brewery team to our first GABF medal (Rippin - silver). In 2018, he was promoted to Head Brewer and has been responsible for the overwhelming majority of awesomeness that has come out of the brewery since then, including multiple national and international accolades. He is one of the most highly skilled professional brewers on the West Coast."

Mason (Lead Brewer) — 5 Years
"Mason came to us in 2021, fresh out of the Fermentation Science program at Oregon State University. Over the years, he has honed his craftsmanship and settled into the role of Lead Brewer. Currently, Mason is overseeing Sunriver Brewing Company’s Wood and Wild series barrel aging program."

Our team is headed up to Spokane today for an event and loaded up their truck with as many emergency relief supplies as it could fit. Our heart goes out to our neighbors in Washington, and, while we're headed up there for a brewing event, we're proud of our friends in the brewing industry for pivoting their messaging from a fun beer event to rallying behind a community in need of support.

GRAINMAKER is a festival bringing together brewers of the PNW to collaborate in celebration of the barley harvest. 50 breweries from across the West Coast brewed collaboration beers highlighting malt from . We teamed up with our friends at for Chase Down XPA featuring Buzz Pilsner, Cashup White Wheat.
