This is probably the most difficult facebook post I have ever done. After many months of trying to sell our bar and after many days and hours of soul searching Al & I made the difficult decision of closing the Camp Abbot Taphouse. This was not an easy decision or one made lightly. But frankly there was no other decision left.
We truly have valued all of the wonderful regular and new customers that have frequented Camp Abbot Taphouse (Formerly Rat Hole Brewing) and we are going to truly miss our regulars. We have made many good friends.
Just know that had there been any other direction, we would have taken it.

While slopeside lodging isn’t the norm at all Oregon ski areas, there is a fun affordable ski-in ski-out alternative in the form of RV and camper parking right at the base of the slopes. This service is offered by many ski areas across Oregon.
