Our hearts are heavy today at The Branding Iron. We said goodbye to our beloved Marshmallow, who has been the true 'boss' of this bar for so long.

For years, she was the first to greet you, the quiet companion in the corner, and the one who made this place feel like home instead of just a business. She saw years of memories, laughter, and Lake summers with us.

The Branding Iron will feel a little quieter and a lot less soft today. Rest easy, sweet girl. You were the best bar cat a family could ask for.🐾❤️🐾❤️

Meet Katie, our Front of House Manager and one of the friendly faces that helps keep everything running smoothly at The Branding Iron!

What Katie loves most about living at the lake?
“Waking up to the views never gets old. I love being surrounded by nature and having so many opportunities to get outside. Whether it’s boating, fishing, or taking my dogs down to the creek.”

Her go-to menu pick:
“My favorite is the Mushroom & Swiss Burger with au jus for dipping it’s a must-try!”

When she’s not at work:
“I’m usually at home with my four dogs and my cat. If I’m not there, I’m out on the boat, going for a walk, or exploring the creek with them.”
