Situated on the waters of Lake Minnetonka and only 20 miles west of Downtown Minneapolis, our destination taproom has it all. As you venture out, enjoy a beautiful meandering drive around the lake, a scenic bike ride along the Dakota Bike Trail, or stunning views of the ninth largest lake via boat as all three modes of transportation are welcomed. or snowmobiles, snowshoes, and fat tires. Upon arrival, choose to sit on their expansive patio or inside their inviting taproom and enjoy a curated music selection that will enhance the vibes. The brewery focuses on Lagers, IPAs, and Imperial Stouts with a special emphasis on seasonal beers, and you're guaranteed to find something you'll love. You can even play a hidden game of trivia, as all of our beers are named after famous Minnesotans, or people with significant ties to our state. In an ode to Minnesota's Nordic heritage, Back Channel celebrates the release of fresh IPA's much like their fellow Vikings...with an ale bowl, also known in the Nordic language as a SKAL. The bowl experience lasts throughout the first week of every IPA release, so there are plenty of bowl opportunities throughout the year. One of the biggest days of the summer at Back Channel is almost here.

Westonka Sound Wave is back this Saturday, August 29. Ten hours of live music, beer and food—all supporting the Westonka Community Food Shelf.

Come hungry. Red Rocket Pizza Company, Food Truck: Tomatillo Mexican Cuisine and Parlour Food Truck will all be here throughout the day.

The concert is free to attend, with proceeds from Back Channel sales donated to the Westonka Food Shelf. We’ll also be accepting monetary and non-perishable food donations.

It’s a big day for a good cause. Come spend it with us!
