Cheers to Club 93! 🥃 🥂 On this amazing day on 9.3.93 the inspiration to The Club was born! Who would have guessed that a blind date would lead to an amazing adventure together! Wow, 32 years and still giddy in love and having fun! Thank you to all of you who have shared in the fun along the way! Love you! (Photo taken a few weeks after we met ❤️ And yes, I am standing on the bumper of the Buick Riviera. haha, the day I was taller than John 😂)

Question:
Rude or Not Rude and Why?

I went to the Holiday gas station in Navarre a couple days a go and when I pulled in, all the pumps where occupied and I noticed 3 of the cars were sitting there unattended and the gas door was opposite from the pump! so I pulled behind a person who was just finishing up and when I got up to the pump and started filling my tank one of the people came out and put their store purchases in their vehicle and then also actually walked to Culver's too!!??!!
Their car was clearly not getting gas with the way it was parked and they are preventing others from using the pumps!!

So, the question is,, Do you think its Rude to park at the pumps not buying gas (especially when they are plenty of other parking spots) to go into the convenience store to shop??

I feel it is,,, Rude!!

Shoreline Drive closure in Mound and Spring Park begins July 31
Plan for road closures and detours

Starting Thursday, July 31, Hennepin County will repair concrete joints on Shoreline Drive (County Road 15) between Commerce Boulevard in Mound and Interlachen Road in Spring Park.

To complete this work, our crews need to fully close Shoreline Drive between Commerce Boulevard and Bartlett Boulevard through Saturday, August 9. At the same time, crews will also close eastbound Shoreline Drive between Bartlett Boulevard and Interlachen Road at the same time.
Traveling to locations near Shoreline Drive

During construction, you will still be able to access homes and businesses in the area.

If you need to travel around these road closures, you can use Commerce Boulevard to Bartlett Boulevard (County Road 125) to Willshire Boulevard to Interlachen Road as a detour.

To get to locations between Bartlett Boulevard and Interlachen Road, you can travel westbound on Shoreline Drive from Interlachen Road.

Following concrete repair work, crews will begin repaving Shoreline Drive/Lynwood Boulevard (County Road 15) between Westedge Boulevard in Mound and Black Lake Road in Spring Park. We will share more details about this work at a later date.

Please be alert and allow extra travel time. Pay attention to signs and crews to help guide you safely through or around work areas.

Dates are weather dependent and subject to change.
