We had another amazing year handing out candy for trick or treaters! Close to 2000 kids came past us today! Happy Halloween!

Bring your kids down to First street for trick or treating from 3-5pm! (or watch with a beverage from our window🍺)
Local businesses hand out candy, and it's our favorite yearly tradition. We've spent the month making thousands of treat bags for the kids! We look forward to seeing your costumes!

The Oxford Saloon in Snohomish, Washington. Built in 1900 it was orginally known as Blackman's Dry Good Store. In 1910 it became a Saloon as has has the name Oxford since. The building has served many customers and served many purposes in its history. 🤓

It was a speakeasy during prohibition with a basement tunnel entrance. The upstairs was a boarding house. Kathleen, a local businesses woman rented them as high class bordellos. 👠

Through the years the Oxford has seen its share of violence and has multiple stories of murders and ghosts. Henry, a local officer and regular tried to break up a fight. He was stabbed and died in the stairwell to the basement. Kathleen, the madam was found in the bathtub upstairs dead. 🛁

People have reported being pinched, seeing a man in a bowler hat. Some even see Kathleens ghost herself, wearing a purple dress. There has also been another female spirit that is believed to be one of the working girls who was found curled up in a closet.

So many eeire stories 🥶

Despite this, the staff says they have experienced no harmful or vengeful spirits. 👻

Have you ever wanted to see or hear ghost activity at the Oxford?

Brittany was going into the office and heard what sounded like "Help me". No one else is on this floor at the time. The sound comes from the hallway behind. She assumed it was customer voices echoing up the stairs, until looking at the cameras a moment later and realizing it didn't come from downstairs. Close to two weeks ago a large mirror in the bathroom on this floor shattered all on its own. Maybe these events are related?
