We’ve received a few questions regarding a recent social media post about a Douglas Lake restaurant health inspection, and we wanted to take a moment to clear up any confusion.

The restaurant mentioned in that report was not Otter’s Cove Bar & Grill.

We are proud to share that our most recent Tennessee Department of Agriculture Food Retail Inspection resulted in a score of 98. ✅

At Otter’s Cove, we take pride in serving great food, creating memorable experiences, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests, employees, and community. From the kitchen to the bar to the patio, our team works hard every day to uphold those standards.

We know that headlines and social media posts can sometimes leave out important details, which is why we wanted to share the facts directly with our guests.

As a locally owned business, we appreciate the trust you place in us when you choose to spend your time at the Cove. Whether you’re joining us for live music, arriving by boat, enjoying dinner with family, or stopping in after a day on the lake, our goal is always to provide a place where you can relax, enjoy yourself, and feel confident in the experience you’re receiving.
