Rick joined OTDC as a post-retirement gig and helps keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. He knows how things flow around here and fits right into it.

He enjoys meeting new people and just as much, seeing familiar faces come back through the door each year!

Favorite spirit: Banana Moonshine. No ice. Just cold.

When he’s not at the distillery, he’s traveling with his wife—anywhere from Crystal River, Florida to Hawaii.

We'll dive into the history, science, and traditions that made Tennessee one of the most important whiskey-producing regions in America. From moonshine to Tennessee whiskey, you'll get hands-on experience making spirits alongside a small group of students inside a working distillery.
