Haley: Flavor Foreman

3 years at Old Tennessee Distilling Co.

Whether she’s behind the bar working on a new cocktail or in the back keeping the bottling line moving, Haley is always finding something to get into. She’s become a familiar face on both sides of the operation and somehow makes the back room look like a pretty good place to be.

Her favorite product is Dark Chocolate Almond Wafer flavored whiskey, on the rocks. Simple, smooth, and just sweet enough.

When she’s not at the distillery, you’ll find her outside chasing quiet trails, camping under the stars, or somewhere deep in the woods enjoying a slower pace.

Three years in, and Haley has become a pretty important part of the crew.

Dwight Bearden was here when Old Tennessee Distilling Company first opened, and he played a big part in getting us up and running.

A fourth-generation moonshiner from Dahlonega, Georgia, Dwight has spent more than 50 years perfecting his craft—and you may have even seen him on Moonshiners.

He’s retired these days, but he’ll be back at the distillery this Friday from 11 AM–4 PM.

Come meet Dwight, hear some stories, and spend a little time with one of the people who helped build this place.

Friday is a big one around here, with Dwight in the house and our sold-out Amanda Bryant Distilling Academy taking place throughout the day.
