The historic ASU Kerr, a division of ASU Cultural Affairs Three words: SUNSET COCKTAIL HOUR. ALL VENUE VISITS MUST BE SCHEDULED.

Hidden, intimate and historic, ASU Kerr is a live music, storytelling and arts venue in the heart of Scottsdale. Built of true Arizona adobe in 1959 by trailblazing composer and violist Louise Lincoln Kerr (1892-1977; daughter of John C. Lincoln) as a personal space for musical collaboration, the center is now home to an annual season of a mix of music and arts shows. Located two minutes north of Old Town Scottsdale, ASU Kerr is also a rustic, hidden and beautiful site for weddings, parties, recitals, conferences or other events. With an indoor and outdoor seating capacity of 120-250 and accompanying lush outdoor Crescendo garden space and patio, ASU Kerr is your flexible, creatively-inclined space for a memorable small to medium-sized event. See Jane Run: An Indo Story - Sunday, Oct. 18 at 2 p.m.
Written and performed by Dr. Jane Vogel Mantiri, a global hit!
This is a solo memoir performance exploring identity, family history and belonging. Drawing from her family’s experience as Indo refugees who fled Indonesia after World War II, Mantiri traces a journey shaped by displacement, assimilation and the lasting effects of generational trauma. Through personal storytelling, she examines themes of love, loss, resilience and cultural identity while reflecting on efforts within the global Indo community to preserve its history and traditions. Co-presented with The Bridge Initiative

Coffee at Kerr: El Gato con Botas (Puss in Boots) - Wednesday, Oct. 21. Coffee and refreshments by Renegade Coffee Company served at 9:30 a.m., show at 10:30 a.m. Join Arizona Opera for a deep dive with mini-performances from this delightful one-act opera by Xavier Montsalvatge. Performed in Spanish with piano accompaniment, this family-friendly production follows a clever cat's quest to win a kingdom and a bride for his master.
