Starship's "We Built This City" was written by Bernie Taupin...Elton John's Lyricist. It climbed to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on November 16, 1985 and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group.

"Ah! Leah!" singer Donnie Iris died Monday after a three-year battle with cancer.

He gave his final performance September 28th in Pittsburgh. After that performance, he revealed in an open letter on social media that he would have to retire from live performing due to his health:
"Music has given me far more than I could ever put into words." From the earliest days to every chapter of my life, your support has been a constant source of joy and inspiration. I am deeply grateful to my daughters and my entire family, the musicians, crew members, promoters, venues and especially the fans who made this life possible."

Donnie Iris was 83.

Feightgeist's list of the 25 top-trending Halloween costumes included a FEW musicians: Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Michael Jackson (Thriller era).
We think Prince should be on the list, as well as David Bowie, KISS, Freddie Mercury (The Crown Jewels-A Tribute to Queen (at Pioneer Place on Fifth) coming November 21). Elvis, of course (2 Elvis tribute Christmas Shows in December: https://111rockpioneerplaceonfifth.thundertix.com/events/260828 )

What other rock/pop stars had iconic looks that could be pulled off for Halloween costumes?
