We had a little mechanical rebellion in the kitchen this morning that temporarily knocked us out of commission.

But you can’t keep Alaro down. 💪

The wrenches have been put away, the kitchen is fired back up, and we are FULL STEAM AHEAD! 🔥

🌶️ THE HATCH CHILES HAVE LANDED. 🌶️

A beautiful batch of fresh Hatch Green Chiles showed up at Alaro… and there was really only one thing to do:

MAKE GREEN CHILE CARNITAS. 🔥🐷

Today’s special is Hatch Green Chile Carnitas Tacos — tender, slow-cooked pork carnitas with roasted Hatch green chiles, tucked into warm corn tortillas and served with Salsa Verde and Chef Johnny’s Charro Mexican Cowboy Beans.

And seriously… if you haven’t tried Johnny’s Cowboy Beans yet, you’re missing out. Smoky, savory, hearty and absolutely worthy of their spot next to these tacos.

Oh, and did we mention we make b**r here too? 🍺😉
