In 1931 a man named Joseph Daniello was granted citizenship from Ellis Island. He had traveled from Italy to start a family in America and gain employment . After many failed attempts to retain employment due to his heritage and last name, he changed it. That man was my Grandfather . McDermott became our family name from then on. This restaurant is my tribute to the many hidden truths among us. This building has a history rich in hidden truths as well . The underground tunnels that lead throughout the businesses on Vernon are just one of the many secrets. They were used both for the brothel this building used to be and the means to run moonshine during the prohibition era. The hidden trap door that leads to a 400 sqft hidden storage underground is testament to a truly discreet time. Daniello’s pays homage to the many secrets trapped and hidden in all of us, including myself. The last 20 years I have spent creating Italian fare that has allowed me to build a solid foundation. With a passion and skill set that far exceeded the Italian genre. Join me on this new adventure... Surprises around every corner, but nothing dangerous.

A Heartfelt Farewell from Daniello’s
Dear friends, loyal customers, and everyone who ever walked through our doors,
It is with a very heavy heart that we share some difficult news: Daniellos has permanently closed its doors.
After three wonderful years of serving you, creating memories around our tables, and sharing meals that we poured our passion into, we have made the hard decision to close the business for good. There won’t be a final day or last service — we’ve already said our quiet goodbye to the kitchen and dining room.
To every one of you who chose us for date nights, family celebrations, special occasions, or just because you were craving our food — thank you. Thank you for three incredible years of patronage, for your smiles, your kind words, your repeat visits, and for making this restaurant feel like so much more than just a place to eat.
You turned strangers into regulars, and regulars into friends. We’ll carry those memories with us forever.
While this chapter is ending, we’re deeply grateful for every moment we got to spend with you.
With all our love and endless appreciation,
The Daniellos Team ❤️

Have you tried our new Weller Old Fashioned? Asphalt & Ashes is our new old-fashioned—smoky, slow, and unapologetically classic. It tastes like sun-baked leather and warm vinyl, the door of an old Mustang cracking open after miles of heat and highway. Dark, brooding, and just a little dangerous, it’s nostalgia with a burn.
