Eastern Kille spirits are a distillation of the Midwest, Michigan, Grand Rapids and our neighborhood. We are a small batch distillery sitting in Grand Rapids North Monroe industrial district, a place with a long tradition of making things. We chose this area to continue this tradition. We make spirits because we love doing it and we hand bottle everything we make in Grand Rapids because we love be

ing here. Our spirits are crafted from the Great Lakes. There is a motto at Eastern Kille: good h***h made local. Our only goal is that if you try one of our spirits you agree this motto fits.

We steeped real graham crackers in our vodka for two weeks. Then we turned the whole batch into a gel and strained it back out. Sounds ridiculous. Tastes like the graham cracker, not the crumbs.

Tours are back, and the first Saturday of the fall is tomorrow at 3pm. There's still room.

An hour on the floor with us: the still, the rickhouse, and a wh***ey thief in your hand pulling a sample straight from a barrel. Then a guided flight of four spirits in the private tasting room. $15 a person, and 20% off food and cocktails if you stay for dinner.

The hardest part of this cocktail is finding ice. Rum, fresh mint, lime — milk-washed until it’s smooth as glass. Almost out of batch one but reinforcements are on the way, we won’t stop bottling clarified mojitos til the summer ends.

Ten years ago we started distilling in West Michigan because we genuinely love making this stuff. That you keep showing up for it means more than we can fit in a caption.

Memorial Day Weekend always signals the start of summer, so it’s fitting we update our hours as well. Not much change here, but we are adding an hour to every weekday and starting Sunday Brunch an hour later. See below for details. Have a great weekend!
