Meet Sara & Mike! 💛

They drove down from Faribault to spend Labor Day weekend in Rochester—and they’re doing downtown right!

They parked the car and hit the pavement: stopped at Whistle Binkies on the way in, checked into the Hilton, then spent the day walking downtown, checking out the bars, restaurants and local spots before ending with dinner at Victoria’s. 🍝

From there, they grabbed a nightcap at Pittsburgh Blue and headed back to their room to watch the fireworks from their balcony. 🎆

And today? They’re doing it all over again—only this time, their friends are joining them!

They told us they LOVE Rochester. ❤️

This is what a Labor Day weekend downtown should look like—stay downtown, walk downtown, shop downtown, eat downtown, drink downtown…and come back for more!

🎉 Happiest of birthdays to Laura — a Victoria’s original! ❤️

Laura has been with us since DAY ONE — almost 29 years! She greets our guests up front, jumps in to help the kitchen whenever needed, and somehow makes it all look effortless.

Dependable. Energetic. Calm. Efficient. Friendly. And she knows this place inside and out!

Oh, and Laura has another superpower: she can BAKE. Her banana bread is legendary, and that annual holiday cookie platter? We wait all year for it. 🍌🍪

29 years, countless guests, a whole lot of banana bread — and one very special Laura.

A third-grade teacher looking to make a little extra cash + a restaurant family always looking for someone willing to jump into the chaos. 😂

A few years ago, we found Joanie - and it was a match made in heaven.

There is literally NOTHING Joanie won’t do. Events, catering, organizing, cleaning, helping guests, setting up, tearing down, fixing whatever mess the rest of us created…she’s in.

Her superpowers? Organization, patience, kindness and the ability to deal with all of us. And trust us—the patience of a saint comes in VERY handy around here.

Joanie may have come to us for a side gig, but somewhere along the way she became family.

Some traditions become family.

For more than 20 years, this incredible group has gathered every Thursday evening at Victoria’s. Over the years, spouses and friends have joined the table. Together they’ve celebrated birthdays, milestones, retirements, and life’s everyday moments. They’ve also said goodbye to a few dear friends along the way.

A few weeks ago, one of the Thursday night crew unexpectedly passed away following what was supposed to be a routine surgery. She had no immediate family, only the family she had built around this table.

Without hesitation, this remarkable group stepped in. They cleaned out her apartment, organized a beautiful celebration of her life, and then returned to the place where so many memories were made—Victoria’s—for dinner, served by the same server who has taken care of them every Thursday for the past two decades.

It’s a powerful reminder that family isn’t always defined by blood. Sometimes it’s built through years of laughter, shared meals, unwavering loyalty, and simply showing up for one another.🩵
