Family-owned wine shop & deli since 1985. We feature bread from Portland French bakery, and cakes from JaCiva's.

We serve delicious sandwiches & salads in our deli (try our famous mushroom pate, or better yet, our "best-in-town" clam chowder!) and offer a wide variety of wines from across the world!!

Thanks to all who came out for our first of three scheduled blind wine tastings of the year! It was a good turnout and the tasters were very diligent and voted for their top 3 favorite $15 (or under) red wines in numbered brown paper bags. The results were close with first place out front by a noticeable amount and a couple of points separating second and and third place and tie breakers for fourth, fifth, and sixth place out of 14 wines presented. The top 3 and honorable mention 4th place will be on the rack up front by the register. Our next blind wine tasting is scheduled for June 2026!

"Best $15 Red" Blind Wine Tasting

Jim Clark originally invented the Woodstock Wine & Deli “Best $10 Red” Blind Wine Tasting in the 1990’s when he was our first Wine Steward after Mom, Dad and I opened the Deli back in 1985. After the second decade of the popular blind wine tasting format, customers mentioned you don’t get that much for $10 anymore, so for the third decade it became the “Best $15 Red” Blind Wine Tasting and since the customers wanted more blind tastings we also changed the event from two times a year the present three times a year. Remember the blind wine tastings only happen every 4 months so gather all your wine tasting family and friends to taste 12+ red wines we can sell for $15 (or less) from numbered brown paper bags. Tasters vote for their top three favorites and the top three plus honorable mention make the rack up front by the till for the next four months. $15 cover includes lots of extra tasting fun!

40th "Anniversary Celebration" Wine Tasting & Sale

The 40th Anniversary Celebration 9 liter Laurent-Perrier "Salmanazar" Champagne and wine tasting glasses have arrived! 40th wine tasting glass, split (187ml), 1/2 bottle (375ml), full bottle (750ml), magnum (1.5L), and salmanazar (9L) in pic. We'll be opening and taste the Salmanazar plus over 50 imported and domestic wines along with caviar, hand-shucked 1/2 shell oysters, and BBQ pulled-pork slider food stations! All tasting wines are 20% off 40th Anniversary Celebration pre-order sale!

Initial Results from the “Best $15 Red” Blind Wine Tasting

Thanks to all who came out for our first of three scheduled blind wine tastings of the year! It was a nice turnout and the tasters were very diligent and voted for their top 3 favorite $15 (or under) red wines in numbered brown bags and the results were tight with one point separating first and second place and one point separating third and fourth place out of 14 wines presented. The top 3 and honorable mention 4th place will be on the rack up front by the till. Our next blind wine tasting is scheduled for June 2025!

Spanish Wine Tasting - Exclusive!
Friday, Sept 13th • 5:50-7 pm • $15

To kick off the fall start of wine season, on Friday September 13th we’ll have a tasting of exclusive Spanish wines brought in direct from the winery by Mark, Mei, and Trish of our local importer Royal Comfort. You may remember they have tasted their exclusive line of Spanish wines at the Deli before and plans are for Mark to make another batch of Paella on site for just the tasting! The Paella will be offered on a first come first served basis so your RSVP would reserve some for you. We’ll taste white, red, and a set of Spanish Cava sparkling wines brand new to the US market! All the wines tasted will be at special pre-sell tasting pricing!

Get ready this Friday for another of our BIG wine tastings, it‘s our “Summer Sippers” Grand Tasting! Our monthly Jazz concert featuring David's Circle 3 Trio with David Friesen-Hemage bass, Joe Manis-tenor & soprano sax, and Alan Jones (sitting in for Charlie Doggett this month!)-drums. Light Deli fare, beer and wine by the glass, no corkage by the bottle! Lots of A/C for an extra-cool concert!
