Sharing this GoFundMe comes with broken hearts, but also with a hopeful prayer that our community can come together for Amanda Guzman 's children.
These kids have already experienced the unimaginable — losing their father a few years ago, and now having to face the loss of their mother, too.

If you had the pleasure of knowing Amanda, you knew without a doubt that her children were her first priority. They were the reason she fought so hard through everything she faced. She wanted to be there for their graduations, another birthday, their weddings, and all the little and big milestones in between. She wanted more time with them.

Now, these kids are carrying a pain that no one should ever have to carry.

This GoFundMe was created to help them navigate life as they move forward into adulthood — without the mom who spent so much of her life making sure they were okay.
So, Oxford, this is one last way we can show Amanda how much she meant to us.

Our hearts are heavy at 24th Street Tavern.
It is with tremendous sadness that we say goodbye to Amanda Guzman , who was a part of the Tavern family for many years.
If you knew Amanda, you already know what made her so special. And if you didn’t, you probably never would have known the difficult days she was facing, because Amanda had a way of bringing so much life into every moment. She was always smiling, always bringing her beautiful energy into the room, and always making the people around her feel a little better just by being there.
Amanda was a beautiful soul—strong, independent, full of life, and simply one of those people you loved being around. Through everything she faced, she continued to show the strength, grace, and positivity that made her so unforgettable.
We will remember her laughter and her presence at the Tavern forever.
And most of all, we will remember the light she brought with her wherever she went.
Our hearts and prayers are with Amanda’s husband Jon Guzman, her children, her family, her friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Rest peacefully, Amanda. You will always be a part of the Tavern family, and you will be deeply missed. 🕊️
