We could use this space to tell you all about how different we are, how cool or how trendy...but we aren’t going to waste your time with that nonsense. HomeGrown Brewing Company is a familiar story: Boy meets beer, boy brews beer, boy introduces father to home brewing, family creates brewing empire – it happens all the time. What we are though, is good at making beer. HomeGrown started in an Oxford basement (at the Powers’ family home, to be exact) and we celebrate the familiar – the flavors you remember, the comfort of your old stomping ground. In a world where everyone is trying to get somewhere else faster, get cooler, be more exclusive, we want to take it down a notch and go back to what breweries should be all about: making you an amazing pint. You can pretend you like paying through the nose to sip Mongolian chilli-infused beers in a guitar-shaped glass while perched on a stool that could only be comfortable if you were actually a bird. We know what you really want to do is just relax with one of our brown ales by the fire.

OH BOY TODAY IS SPECIAL! Yes we have officially made it to Halloween weekend. Which means the karaoke costume contest is HAPPENING! And by happening I mean countless talented and talentless singers dressed up in various ridiculous alter ego outfits will descend upon HomeGrown to take the stage. Now that IS special.

Let's also not forget something that is special: HomeGrown's spirits! Yes we have our wonderfully special cocktail offerings from now till the end of time.

Tonight is the night where things get a little wierd in all the right ways: THE 9TH ANNUAL BREWS + BOOS KARAOKE AND COSTUME PARTY!!!! We know you will be busy trick or treating tomorrow night so come on out and have some adult socialization and show off the skills or lack of skills you possess.

Party starts at 7:00. Karaoke kicks off at 8:00. See you there!

Today is so special because of alllll the leaves on the ground that you are looking forward to raking, bagging, and dragging to the curb. "They" say joy comes from the anticipation of an experience, not the actual experience. Which I guess also means you have to expect the post-leaf raking depression to set in right after... Life is so full of existential ups and downs. However our specials are special because they are nothing but up up up!
