Tue, May 5—For the next edition of Wine Turntable, we welcome Giovanni and Paolo Occhipinti from Le Fontante.

Giovanni and Paolo Occhipinti grew up among the vineyards and cellars of COS in Vittoria, where they were deeply influenced by their father, Giusto Occhipinti, one of the pioneers of natural wine in Sicily. From him, they inherited a respect for the land, patience in winemaking, and a strong connection to their Sicilian roots. While inspired by the legacy of COS, the brothers felt the desire to create their own path and express a personal vision of wine. Their first release came in 2022 with a Cerasuolo di Vittoria Classico DOCG, the appellation they consider the purest expression of their identity. 

In 2023, they expanded their portfolio with Sabbie Rosse and Calcis, two wines made from indigenous Sicilian varieties and fermented with native yeasts, reflecting their commitment to authenticity and terroir-driven winemaking.

Wed, May 6—We are excited to welcome Chef Jeff Miller from Rosella for our next Chef Mixtape. 

Jeff Miller opened Rosella in 2020 and Bar Miller in 2023. He's been making sushi for 20 years, working in Florida, Texas, and California before moving to New York in 2017. He grew up in Grass Valley, California and is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Journalism. 

His menu this evening will include flavors such as scallop sashimi with pesto, fish sausage sliders, and coconut-cream cheese mousse. Book your reservation through Resy to secure your spot.

Fri, Apr 17—Next Friday, we welcome Allison Kelly and the Hired Hands as they bring live Bluegrass music to our 12th Anniversary Party!

Allison, a bass player, banjo player, guitarist and vocalist, has played nationally in 46 states and internationally in Canada and the UK over the last decade.

In addition to good, country vibes, we will also have Fried Chicken specials with a variety of fixins and Pol Roger Champagne from a 9 litre bottle!

For attire we highly encourage Kentucky Derby Casual, that is, if you aren't competing in the Colonel Look-A-Like contest. It will be a night to remember.

Reservations are highly recommended through Resy, though we will take walk-ins as able.
