Pans on the heat, bread being cut, plates moving through the pass, and a bottle opened before the first dish has quite reached the table. Something arrives to share, another glass is poured, and suddenly dinner has found its own direction.

At La Compagnie, food and w**e are rarely treated as separate decisions. One leads naturally to the next, each plate finding its bottle and every bottle giving the table another reason to stay.
