Henrietta Hudson was established in 1991 to serve the le***an community of New York City. Raising money and awareness for 1000's of not for profits in our community. Providing a safe space for the entire LGBTQ community at large. WE are now in our 29th year in operation and remain an integral part as one of NYC's genuine cultural establishments. WE have changed with the times and the diverse needs of our community and now identify as a le***an-centric q***r human bar. WE embrace all the colorful aspects of the gender binary spectrum. A true LGBTQ establishment. Over the years WE have seen it all... 911, the 2008 recession & Super Storm Sandy in 2012. WE rose above all of these obstacles but never anticipated or could ever prepare for the onerous burden of a pandemic that could decide our very survival. Bars are recession proof, but not pandemic proof. WE took all the right actions with regard to applying for any and all assistance that was offered to us. What we heard back from city and federal agencies was "crickets". nada, nothing, nil, not a crumb. WE must now turn to all of you and ask for your help by donating to sustain our survival and ensure that we reopen when it is safe to do so. NO donation is too small.
