It is with the heaviest of heart that we must inform our Snake and Jake's family of the passing of Peeve S. P. Wiggle-Bottom, III.

He died in his sleep.

See below a wonderful tribute to him. He will be missed by many but especially by us.

For 11 years, Peeve was the mascot dog at Snake and Jake’s Christmas Club Lounge. College students held him on the couch. Regulars bought him shots of kibble. Even now, after he lost his battle to cancer last month, his spirit remains inside the Uptown bar.

Grab you fuzzy buddy and join us this Tuesday (11/25) at Snake and Jake’s for our second annual Bring Your Dog to the Bar Day. Dog party + raising money for The Inner Pup. The Ians (Ian Orr of Snakes and Ian Lyke of The Dog House) will be mixing up canine inspired tiki drinks while G’s Grill will be dishing out the chicken & sausage jambalaya. Start at 5pm then stick around for late night with Bobby at midnight. Come celebrate your new holiday tradition and hang with the dawgs.

We are saddened by the passing of our old bartender, friend and neighbor, Frank Connell. Dave and Tony opened a bar and then Frank blew in and really got this party started. R.I.P.
