Here’s a little walk down memory lane in honor of tonight’s celebration of the 6 Year Anniversary of Songwriter’s Night at the Redbird!

📸s: The Burrow boys were hard at work. We kicked around different names. We started from scratch. We planted. We started small. Actually, the very first Songwriter’s Night, was by invite only, Sterling Finlay helped cohost, Al Barlow was present, among many other talented songwriters, those last couple of folks even got married… and six years later, the tradition of music and community continues, join us!

Hey Redbird family, we are so proud and grateful to have recently come up on 6 years since our first songwriter night, technically it would have been last week. 6 years of songs, friendships, community, and incredible artistic growth I have witnessed firsthand. We were going to celebrate tonight, but it turns out my son Tex has his first football schrimmage tonight, plus I play Gruene Hall tomrrow night, so I’m gonna go enjoy being with my son this evening, and rest up for the big show tomorrow night! I want to invite you all out to Gruene Hall tomrrow to celebrate the album release of Modern Day Vagabond! It’s truly a lifelong dream coming true playing on that stage

There will still be a regular Songwriter Night tonight, sign up at 6, songs at 7

Then next Thursday, once things have settled down a little, we want to celebrate our 6 year anniversary of Songwriter Night in proper fashion, with pot luck / h’or derves at 6pm and music starting at 7! That’s next week! Thursday Sept 10! Join us! And thank you all for being a part of our story 🙏🏼
