Gruene River Grill Gruene River Grill Restaurant overlooks the Guadalupe River and offers full service dining with a variety of southwestern fair and full service bar.

Located between San Antonio and Austin, the Gruene River Grill has been serving the New Braunfels area since 2004. Overlooking the Guadalupe River in the historic district of Gruene, we offer outside patio seating and air-conditioned indoor seating. We also have private dining rooms available for your next special event and we provide catering as well. At Gruene River Grill we use local vendors to bring us quality ingredients for our scratch made recipes. We offer a full service bar with premium liquors, frozen margaritas, locally brewed craft beers and an extensive wine list. Our menu includes something for everyone. Start off with our signature Shrimp Wontons or the Tri-Fecta with homemade Queso, Guacamole and Roasted Salsa. We offer a great selection of hand-tossed salads like our Classic Greek Salad or our Chicken Fajita Salad. For the beef lovers we have signature hamburgers and hand-cut steaks, like the Balsmaic Ribeye. If you’re serious about seafood then try our Pan Seared Redfish, Salmon Piccata or Jalapeno Glazed Shrimp Brochettes. Our local favorites like Lemon Chicken, Smoked Pork Tenderloin and Hawaiian Baby Back Ribs will keep you coming back every time. Other favorites include Chicken Guadalupe, Gruene Chicken Enchiladas and Southwest Meatloaf. Finish off your meal with homemade desserts, like Crème Brulee, Key Lime Pie, Five Layer Chocolate Cake or Blackberry Cobbler. At Gruene River Grill our goal is to offer our guests the best food and drink at a fair price in a casual and relaxed family atmosphere.

Here’s a sneak peek inside The Gruene Lokal Bar and Grill. Opening soon right next door to Gruene River Grill!

We’re putting the finishing touches on a beautiful new space featuring a full bar, handcrafted cocktails, great food, plenty of room to gather, and one of the best views in Gruene.
