Just tapped: Inward Delight, our seasonal Oktoberfest lager. 🍻

This copper-colored Märzen is medium-bodied and easy-drinking, with delicate malt sweetness and toasty notes from German malts. German Noble hops bring a balanced touch of spice and floral aroma to every sip.

At 5.7% ABV, it’s the perfect pint for pairing with grilled meats, sausage, pretzels—or simply a night in the taproom.

Happy Firkin Friday!!! This week's cask conditioned offering is our 5.5%abv Porter conditioned on toasted coconut!!! The coconut is a little more subtle than I wanted but oh well. It is last call for Visionary Voices Colonial-era style ale and Elijah's English-style Summer ale. Next week, they will be replaced by our 5.7% abv Märzen-style Inward Delight Oktoberfest and our yet to be named Cold Brew Coffee Porter made with Speedwell Coffee Roasters of Plymouth cold brew extract. Also, West Coast IPA fans can rejoice since our Customer Appreciation $5 Beer of the Week is our Quick Eternity IPA!!!

New Beer Alert! Captive King is the latest Moby Dick seasonal offering. It is a light-to- medium bodied, unfiltered Belgian White ale or Wit. Witbier or Belgian White Ales are wheat beers, they are similar to German Hefeweizens, but are usually spiced with coriander and orange peel like this one. These beers are very popular right now, the two most common Belgian Wits are Hoegaarden and Allagash White. These beers are crisp and refreshing. This beer would make a nice complement to any of our salads. It would also go great with our marinated chicken sandwich, fish and chips, lighter Asian and Mexican dishes and any other lighter fare with citrus flavors.

MALTS: Pilsner malt, Wheat and oats

HOPS: Magnum

ABV: 5.0% ABV

IBUs: 13

OTHER: Coriander and sweet and bitter Orange peel

It’s Captain’s Catch Tuesday! Today’s fresh catch is Monkfish, and we are serving it up as bite sized pieces coated in a ritz panko crumb served with house fries, pickle slaw and harissa caper tarter. $25 while it lasts including a pint of MDBC beer!
