More ways to enjoy The Landing are on the way!
We’ve heard your feedback, and we’re excited to take the next step in expanding the food and beverage experience at The Landing on Diamond Lake.
We recently issued a Requests for Proposals (RFP) for food and beverage operations and are excited by the response as we pursue the shared goal of bringing more variety and options to The Landing for the community to enjoy.

Whether you’re stopping by for a bite, meeting friends, enjoying a drink lakeside, listening to live music or simply taking in the lake views, we’re looking forward to creating even more ways for you to enjoy your time at The Landing.

Come See Us This Weekend at The Landing!

Fall is just around the corner, and we’re making the most of these beautiful days at The Landing on Diamond Lake!

Our fall hours are a little shorter, but there’s still plenty of time to grab a bite, enjoy a drink, relax by the lake, and take in those beautiful views.

Weekend Hours:
Saturday & Sunday | 2:30–6:30 pm
Friday | 5–8 pm

And don’t miss our upcoming Live Music Thursdays!
September 10 | 5:30–8:30 pm
September 24 | 6–8 pm

The park is also open daily from sunrise to sunset, so come enjoy the lake, trails, and outdoor spaces anytime.

Contest Rules:
One entry per person.
Photo must be taken at The Landing on Diamond Lake.
Photo must be posted during the 15-day contest period.
Photos must be appropriate for a public audience.
Participants must own the photo they submit and have permission to post it.
By entering, participants give Mundelein Park & Recreation District permission to repost their submitted photo on its social media channels and other promotional materials, with credit to the photographer when possible.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
The winner will be selected randomly from eligible entries after the contest closes.
Winner will be contacted via the social media account used to enter.
If the winner does not respond within 5 days, a new winner may be selected.

TOMORROW’S THE DAY! Here’s your friendly reminder before you head our way!

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow! Here are a few quick things to know before you join us:

🪑 Bring a lawn chair! There will be some seating available, but we encourage you to bring your own chair so you can get comfortable.

🍹 No outside alcohol. Please leave the outside beverages at home.

🌮 Come hungry! Outside food is welcome, and we’ll also have local food trucks, Buenos Días and Prime Beef, serving up some delicious options.

🕶️ Don’t forget the essentials! Sunglasses and bug spray are a good idea.

🚗 Parking: Parking is available in the lots across the street, and street parking is also available.

🎉 Most importantly… come ready to have fun!
