It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Laurie Jeffers, a beloved former owner of The Cottage Tap, who passed away this past weekend.

Laurie was much more than a business owner—she was a respected member of our community whose dedication, hard work, and welcoming spirit helped shape The Cottage Tap into the place so many have come to know and love today. Her impact reached far beyond the walls of the tavern, touching the lives of family, friends, employees, and countless patrons over the years.

We are deeply grateful to Laurie and her family for everything they did to help this small-town business thrive. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with all who knew and loved her during this difficult time.

In her honor, one bottle of American Honey will always have a place on our shelf—a small tribute to a woman whose legacy will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Laurie. We are honored to carry forward the legacy you built and will always remember the positive mark you left on our community.

Details for a Celebration of Life will be announced in the coming weeks. We know Laurie would want to be remembered with laughter, stories, friendship, and a celebration of a life well lived.
